Install

How to install

  1. 1

    Drag it to Applications

Open the .dmg file and drag CellLabel into your Applications folder.

  2. 2

    Allow it to open

Apple hasn't notarized this version yet, so macOS blocks it the first time you open it. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, find CellLabel, and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.

  3. 3

    Add your scans

Click Choose a folder… or drag a folder onto the window. CellLabel adds every .vsi file inside it.

Updates

Staying up to date

CellLabel checks for a new version when it opens and every six hours after that. When one is available, a notice appears in the top bar. Click Download to get it.

Your data

Where your data is saved

All your projects and points are saved in one file. The file is separate from the app, so installing a new version doesn't change it. CellLabel also saves an hourly backup in the same folder.

~/Library/Application Support/celllabel/celllabel-data.json
Note

Install the newest version

New versions update the data file to a format that older versions can't read. If you open an older version, it won't load the file, so your counts stay safe. Just reinstall the newest version.
